Defenders of the Lonely Mountain

Quick (blue Bic-)pen sketches after asked about an older Iron Hill dwarf sketch I did a few years ago (which I don't like too much anymore).
 

Inspired me to go at it. No high fantasy movie related design. More north-west European outfitting, from which Tolkien took his inspiration. This is how I see Middle Earth.

Elven spear man, Iron Hills dwarf according to the books description (except for the hammer/pick which should be a mattock, but this one looks more martial). And a Laketown militia man wearing a gambeson.
