The Numenorean

The Númenorean:

"The Men of Númenor, descendants of the Edain of the First Age, who were granted the island of Elenna as a dwelling place. They turned against the Valar, and their island home was destroyed in the last years of the Second Age."

This piece is an ode to , who is a great friend and inspiration to me. Also, we both hold a great love for the world of Tolkien, and Dúnedain in particular.

The Númenorean is actually a portrait. I was looking for a strong and proud looking man, and stumbled upon this picture: [link] made by his lovely wife I never use references, but this one I couldn't resist. It's a quick work, nothing too fancy Could have added a million more details, but it's late now.

So David, I'm sorry I used your noggin without asking first, but I'm sort of sure you're okay with it, cause I gave you a sword.
