Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausführung B, Sd. Kfz. 182
aka Tiger II or Königstiger.

It's been in the making for a while, mostly because I wanted to get it right. I googled the crap out of, well, Google :) I tried about four or five different poses. This one, though not using the most exciting perspective, seemed to portay it best. Used a lot of reference, but finally used an awesome piece of 3d modelling as reference. I can't seem to find it right now cause I'd like to credit the maker of that great model. I'll put up the link asap, it's here on DA too. So if any of you find it before I do, please send me the link, hope it's still up.

It's not 100% accurate, but it depicts what I wanted it to. Awesome, forward thinking design, powerfull and intimidating. Let's all be thankfull it came too late in the war.

Made this for a good friend of mine. Intended for his birthday (29 April), hence the tank's number.

I'm glad it's done. Painting that Zimmerit-armour was a b*tch :)

Hope you enjoy!

EDIT: Found the ref here on DA, check it out, awesome model [link]

Damn good work on a damn powerful tank. (ps, had the war lasted a little longer, it would have met a match in the Centurion tank)

Thanks, mate! Ah yes, very true, I only recently read the Centurion was actually a 1945 model. Never even knew that, awesome piece of engineering.

Any chance to buy a big-ass canvas? Or even buy a high-res and get my own canvas made? :)

Thanks for ordering mate (I presume it was you). Print shop doesn't state the buyer). I hope you enjoy it!
