My entry for the "This Is War" contest from :iconthelotrclub:

Beleg and Mablung, fighting side by side in The Fifth Battle, Nirnaeth Arnoediad. Nowhere in The Silmarillion does it say with what host they fought, being the only ones to ride from Doriath. I tend to think they fought with Turgon and the host of Gondolin, since they made a good escape. In the background Thangorodrim looms, shrouded in smoke from it's craters and dust from the battle.

Here apparently they already lost their helmets ;) I always imagined Beleg to be fair haired, thus Mablung (Heavy Hand, hence the mace) is the dark haired one. Maybe I missed or forgot some details and their hair colour is off, but hey, my time is up! Deal with it. :D Finished just in time, from now on I am going into hybernation for three weeks (working on my house). Raced to finish this one. Could have been more detailed, but I need to let go now...
